Carver County 2024 Commissioner Districts 1 and 3
Current Commissioner Candidate Filing Information
Candidates for county offices may file beginning May 21 through June 4, 2024 with the Carver County Elections Department, Carver County Government Center, 600 E 4th St, Chaska, MN. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on June 4 to accept candidate filings. County Commissioner filing fee is $50.

The filing dates for city offices such as Mayor and Council Member depend on whether the city holds primaries or not.
- Candidates in cities where a primary is possible may file from May 21, 2024 until June 4, 2024 at 5 pm.
- Candidates in cities where a primary is not held may file from July 30, 2024 until August 13, 2024 at 5 pm.
